In our newest workshop, we explored the goals of public speaking, what a great speech looks like, and then had each of our students write and present their own speeches!

In our painting workshop, everybody created a Halloween-themed painting with pumpkins, webs, spiders, and more on their canvases!

One Acts Theater
Held at the Twin Hickory Pavilion, we all took various roles in our play directed by McKinnley Dillon and gave a final performance together!

Engineering
At our first in-person workshop, we offered a STEM and Humanities workshop. Held at Gayton Library, we completed small engineering challenges like building the tallest tower using marshmallows and spaghetti!
July Workshop
GreenTeenz RVA
For our first workshop of the year, we partnered with a 501(c)3 nonprofit, GreenTeenz RVA, and hosted four virtual meetings from July 18-29 regarding our planet and living sustainably. Classes covered topics such as pollination, marine life, eco-friendly habits, and more!
November 2021 Workshops
Chess and Forensics
At the Science Museum of Richmond, our forensics workshop showcased students analyzing fingerprints, extracting DNA from strawberries, and solving logic puzzles! At our chess workshop, our chess instructors held several chess games for students along with tips!
